Inverter costs will continue to decline

The latest data shows that the price of inverters has reached 0.2 yuan/watt. After a continuous price cut, has the price of the inverter already reached a bottleneck? Under this circumstance, what means should inverter manufacturers continue to reduce costs and increase efficiency? Although the price of inverters has been hitting new lows in recent years, there is still room for cost reduction, so the price of inverters will continue to decline in the next few years, but the decline will be smaller. Compared to 2015 and 2016, the price of the 2018 inverter will not fall as much.
 
In the face of continued downward pressure on costs, companies should achieve cost reduction through technological innovation. As an electronic product, the supply chain of the inverter is completely different from the photovoltaic cells and components. The main means of reducing costs still needs to work hard from the technical level. Specifically, it is to make the inverter smaller and lighter by applying some efficient components and better product solutions; or to combine technology innovations such as smart energy management and intelligent operation and maintenance to develop more efficient and intelligent. In the era of power generation, the quality of inverters has also received much attention. In these two trade disputes, the Chinese PV industry is targeted. Coupled with the EU's "double opposition" to the Chinese PV market, China's photovoltaic industry is "going out" facing difficulties.
 
In view of the current trade disputes suffered by China's PV industry, if the United States and India both implement trade control on China's PV industry, it will definitely have an adverse impact on China's PV development. If we do not have further countermeasures, it will cause further decline in the price of the entire industry chain. As far as the domestic market is concerned, it is difficult to replicate the grand occasion of 2017 in 2018, so in the case of a slowdown in domestic demand, the existence of international trade disputes will cause the price of photovoltaic products to fall. However, these effects are only temporary and cannot form a substantial obstacle to the overall development of China's photovoltaic industry. Because compared with 2011 and 2012, the current Chinese PV industry has already occupied 50% of the global PV market, and has already got rid of the embarrassing situation of the two outside; and after the storm of 2011-2012, the domestic The enterprises and markets are more mature, and the international trade disputes are more calm.
